Fresh, Elegant, and Worth the Eight Mile Drive
Carmichael may not be known as Sacramento's center for haute cuisine but there are several restuarants in the area which are worthy of note. "La Perla" Bistro (the name means 'the pearl') is one of those and is well worth the drive.
As you may know, my husband and I are unable to get out for dinner--for lack of a little thing called "kindercare." We substitute going out for lunch. This time we wound up in Carmichael. When we entered the restuarant, we were quickly greeted and seated by one of the partial owners--the friendly Evan Selby.

Giving Back to Our Community

Prestige Events, Inc. will be Donating Full Catering Services for the Friday portion of the XP (Xeroderma Pigmentosum ) Family Retreat for 2008. This four-day event wiil give children with XP the chance to build friendships with other XP children and have a Summer Camp Experience while their parents can attend informative meetings regarding this inherited disease.

We are proud to be of service to the families affected by XP and hope that our contribution will enhance the experience of everyone in attendance. We are also grateful to be associated with A & A Music Events, who is donating full Entertainemnt Services such as Carnivals Games for the entire four-day event.
